Youth Fitness Spring Training
OUR MISSION:
To promote good health & fitness by providing youth with the tools they need to maintain a healthy, active lifestyle. This will be accomplished through an activity based program that will be informative, safe AND fun! Upon completion of the program participants will be certified to use age appropriate equipment at the FRC without parental supervision.
About the Program
This 5-week course will allow participants to earn the FRC Youth Strength Training Certification, which allows them to utilize appropriate exercise equipment for their size, skill and maturation levels. Note that not all weight machines or cardiovascular equipment are the right size for most youths. Participants are allowed to miss 1 session and still be certified. There will be a form of assessment to earn certification.
